Why is someone from Florida in charge of your program?
It is suspiciously like a scam.
The off-site admissions center is merely the recruitment arm of the university. The Enrollment Advisors work with prospective students to answer questions, collect transcripts, conduct interviews, and assemble completed applications. The completed packets are then reviewed by our faculty and administrators on campus in Portland, who make the final acceptance decisions. In addition to admissions, all other academic-related activities (including curriculum development and policy-making) are conducted on-site at Marylhurst. Many universities have adopted the off-site admissions model for their online programs so they can focus on their number one priority – academics. If you would like to learn more, please click on the “On-Campus” link at the top of the page or feel free to contact the Marylhurst University on-site Office of Admissions directly:

Why do you not have any information about tuition fees on the web site?
Hi Irina,
Thank you for the question! The tuition fees vary based on which degree you are choosing, so we put the information in the relevant area: Sustainability, Real Estate, or Business. When you reach those areas, the tuition can be found under the Admissions category. Here are the direct links for each:
Sustainable Degrees Tuition
Real Estate Degrees Tuition
Business Degrees Tuition
If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact an advisor at 866-278-3965.
I would like to know if your MBA in Sustainable Business is available to hearing-challenged people. I have tried to request information about the program, but a telephone number is required. I do not use a telephone, and I do not watch videos that do not have full transcripts.
There are more people like me who might like to take advantage of your programs, were you to make them available without requiring a phone number. (Incidentally, since a phone number is a non-option for me, I am curious as to why you require one – are you selling the phone numbers of people who request information?)
If it is possible to receive info about this program, and, if this program is structured to allow people who are hearing-challenged (i.e., it has text-based lessons), I would like to receive more information about the program.
Thank you.
Margaret Gamez
Hello Margaret,
Marylhurst University would love to have you as a student. Students with disabilities are asked to register with the ADA office. The ADA office will ensure that the University provides access to all course materials. Course materials do include some audio and video, but in some cases there is closed captioning. For those that do not have that feature, the ADA office would provide transcripts. Here is their information (please note: these links will take you to the on-campus website, but they will still help you with online questions):

With respect to requiring phone numbers, we require this as part of our forms, but we do not sell prospective students’ information to anyone. Phone numbers and email addresses are actually how we keep people organized in our contact management system, because there can be multiple people with the same name (think John Smith). You have identified, however, a lack of functionality for disabled visitors to our site. And because of that, we are going to try and add a link to the ADA pages onto all of the forms on the website.
Thank you again for contacting us and bringing this to our attention. I hope that these links are helpful to you!
Just curious as to whether your MBA programs are accredited through the AACSB accreditation?
I already have a real estate broker license, but would like to get a degree of bachelors of science in real estate. Is it possible to transfer my previous credits to your school for a degree?
Hello Bill,
Thank you for the question.
Our business programs carry additional accreditation from the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE). We are currently evaluating adding AACSB accreditation as well. Please visit the Accreditations page to learn more.
If you have further questions, please contact your Enrollment Advisor at 866-278-3965. Have a great day!
Hello Emilie,
Thanks for the question. We would be happy to review your unofficial copies of transcripts to determine how many credits you have available for transfer. The maximum is 90 quarter credits of lower division work. I would be happy to serve as your Enrollment Advisor moving forward. My name is Lisa, and you can email your transcripts directly to lparry-admissions@onlinedegrees.marylhurst.edu or fax them to 321-239-1865.
Thanks,
Lisa
Where do you send official transcripts so I can see how many classes will transfer?
Hi Sherry,
Transcripts can be faxed to 321-239-1865 for an unofficial evaluation or mailed directly to us at:
