Administrators Biographies

Barbara Fournier
Program Coordinator, Accelerated Online Programs, Marylhurst University

Ms. Fournier has been working with online students and faculty at Marylhurst for the last four years. Prior to joining the Accelerated Online Programs she worked with the undergraduate Business Management & Real Estate Studies programs, as well as the Organizational Leadership online program. Before coming to Marylhurst, she held several different positions in Student Services for a community college in California. Ms. Fournier has experienced online learning both as a student and as a facilitator in online courses. Experiencing "online" from both perspectives has helped her to work with students more effectively as Program Coordinator for the AOP program. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marylhurst University.

Bob Hanks
Director, Business and Real Estate Studies Programs

Mr. Hanks has more than 20 years of management, consulting, education, training, and public service experience. As the Director for Business, Real Estate, and Online Programs at Marylhurst University, Mr. Hanks is responsible for the overall leadership of the MBA program, Undergraduate Business Management Program, Center for Real Estate Studies, and Center for Learning Partnerships. He is also a faculty member for the Graduate and Undergraduate Business staff. Prior to his role at Marylhurst, he served for four years as the Chair for Undergraduate Business and Management at the Oregon Campus of the University of Phoenix. He also has taught at George Fox University in the Management and Organizational Leadership Program and was employed by the Southland Corporation (7-Eleven Food Stores) for 17 years where he opened stores in Brazil, Korea, The Philippines, and Sweden, while holding a variety of positions which included: Franchise Training Manager, Franchising Manager, Field Consultant, and Retail Information Systems Coordinator.

Mary Bradbury Jones
Accelerated Online Program Director, Marylhurst University

Ms. Jones has more than 15 years of experience in learning and development. She has worn many hats during this time: Student, Teacher, Facilitator, Curriculum Designer, Consultant, and Manager. As an Organizational Development consultant, she spent the majority of her time working one on one with clients as they tried to implement learning and development initiatives, execute change, develop leaders and build a learning organization. Ms. Jones joined the University of Phoenix as adjunct faculty in 2002 and was the FlexNet Program Chair for the Oregon campus from 2003-2006. Currently, she is the Accelerated Online Program Director at Marylhurst University. Her area of expertise lies in Human Resources, Change Management, Leadership and Organizational Development. She received her Bachelor's in Communication Studies from University of Kansas and a Master's in Human Resources Development from Webster University.
