Transfer Credit

Courses completed at other regionally accredited colleges or universities will be evaluated for use in your degree plan. Marylhurst may accept up to 100 quarter credits towards your undergraduate degree and 8 quarter credits towards your MBA. All transfer credit is evaluated on an individual basis.

Undergraduate
Students who have earned an AA or AS degree from an accredited institution, and have met the English, Math, and Science requirements, will transfer in at a junior level and will be considered to have satisfied their general education requirements.

A maximum of 90 lower-division quarter credit hours can be applied toward acquiring your bachelor’s degree. Up to 10 upper-division quarter credit hours can be transferrable, if the credits meet the specific learning outcomes of the courses in the foundation or core courses.

If you have any questions about transferring your credits, please contact an Enrollment Advisor at 1-866-278-3965.

Graduate
Upon admission to Marylhurst’s MBA, students can request transfer of up to 8 quarter-credits from a regionally accredited college or university.

Marylhurst considers graduate business credits earned within 5 years of admission for transfer. You must provide an official transcript of the graduate credits and a course syllabus to determine transfer eligibility. Only courses with a grade of “B” (3.00) or higher are considered. You may need to submit a course syllabus to determine transfer eligibility. Requests for MBA transfer credits are evaluated on an individual basis.

One Response to “Transfer Credit”

  1. I have 60 credits and an Associate in Science General Education Degree from Mattatuck Community College in Waterbury, CT dated July 28, 1983 . GPA 2.704

I am not sure how to calculate how many credits and how much it would cost to acheive a B.S. in Real Estate. I have been in the real estate business 25 years and have owned a CENTURY 21 Franchise for 7 years.

Please advise. I am 52 and always wanted to complete college but my work life got in the way!
