The Linc Group, a company that provides integrated facility services, recently won the 2011 Green Award from the Orange County chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
The honor, which was presented last month at the 16th annual ACG Awards Event in Newport Beach, California, recognizes Linc's efforts to help other companies reduce energy consumption and lower operational costs for a wide range of facilities around the country.
"We are deeply committed to the green and sustainable building market, an area where we see enormous opportunity," said Tracy K. Price, the CEO and chairman of the Linc Group. "This year we will be expanding our bundled energy solutions and continuing to develop energy-related technology innovations, always with a focus on cost effective solutions that enable our clients to reduce their operating expenses."
Cary Booth Kaufman, the chairperson of the ACG Awards event, added that the Linc Group set itself apart from the competition with its commitment to so-called "Green and Clean" initiatives, giving it a unique business model that helps benefit the environment as well as customers.
